1st Angel Reading Parent Volunteer Meeting 2009

Sixteen parent volunteers attended the first meeting for the Angel Reading Programme on 2 March 2009 at 12.45 p.m in the Conference Room at Anderson Primary School. Present during the meeting were Mr Derek Tan, Vice Principal, Mr Ong Jin Cheng, HOD/EL and Ms Eileen Ang, the Language Support Co-ordinator (LSC). Mrs Jenny Tan, the Co-ordinator of the Angel Reading Programme chaired the meeting. She outlined the objectives for the Angel Reading Programme and led in planning the schedule for the year. After the meeting, the new parent volunteers attended a workshop by Ms Eileen Ang. This was to equip these volunteers with the knowledge and skills to carry out the reading programme with the pupils. The training ended at 2.45 p.m.

Workshop for Angel Reading Parents

Hi Everyone,

Here are the photographs of the Angel Reading Parent Workshop. The workshop which was conducted by Dr Cheah Yin Mee was held on Monday, 28 July 2008 from 2.00 - 5.00 p.m at Anderson Primary School. A total of 16 parents attended the workshop. All the parents agreed that the workshop was informative, entertaining and practical. With their new found knowledge, these Reading parents will go forth to make the Angel Reading Programme even more interesting for the pupils.

Please report on the day as scheduled. If you are unable to come for one reason or another, please inform the daily co-ordinator well in advance.
